Position: Business Development Center Sales Associate

Full-Time

Location: JN Group

Position Summary: The Business Development Center Sales Associate (“BDC Sales Associate”) is
responsible for,
• Helping us to discover new and innovating ways to develop relationships with new clients to
drive them into the Dealership and retain existing clients by utilizing both phone and internet
strategies;
• Operating as an incoming and outgoing call and email center with the incentives of making sales
appointments;
• Other job duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements: Must have high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
equivalent; Exceptional customer service and communication, verbal and written, skills; Either
one (1) year experience in sales or front-line customer service position or automotive dealership
client-facing position; or equivalent combination of education and experience; Must have
proficient computer skills; Must have a working knowledge of the following applications, but
not limited to: CRM web based programs, Microsoft Office – Word and Excel; Must have a
valid Hawaii Motor Vehicle Sales License or able to obtain one.

Position: Service Technician

Full-Time

Location: JN Group

Position Summary: The Service Technicians are responsible for,

• Examining vehicles, compiling estimates of repair costs, and securing customers approval to perform repairs;
• Repairing, overhauling, and adjusting automobile brake systems;
• Using electronic test equipment to locate and correct malfunctions in the fuel, ignition, and emissions control systems;
• Repairing and replacing defective ball joint suspensions, brake shoes and wheel bearings;
• Inspecting and testing new vehicles for damage, then recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made;
• Aligning and repairing wheels, axels, frames, torsion bars, and steering mechanisms of automobiles, using special alignment equipment and wheel-balancing machines;
• Tuning automobile engines to ensure proper and efficient functioning. Repairing, installing, and adjusting hydraulic and electromagnetic automatic lift mechanisms used to raise and lower automobile windows, seats, and tops;
• Installing and repairing air conditioners, and service components such as compressors, condensers, and controls;
• Repairing and rebuilding of clutch systems. Removing and replacing automobile defective mufflers and tailpipes;
• Accurately diagnosing, servicing, and repairing vehicles;
• Documenting notes and recommendations on the repair order;
• Inspecting vehicles and advising Service Consultant of any areas of concern so customers are informed;
• Ensuring work is completed accurately and done safely;
• Maintaining and exceeding minimum shop production standards;
• Attending all required factory training and obtaining all required certifications;
• Other job duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements: Must have high school diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent; Mechanical Aptitude is required; Knowledge of different engines, components and systems; Experience in manual dexterity, able to operate, understand, and is comfortable with a wide variety of hand tools and equipment; Problem solving skills and customer service experience; Must have valid Driver’s license and an acceptable abstract; Possession of a valid and current Safety Inspector license desirable; ASE certification’s preferred.

Position: Service Technician

Full-Time

Location: Cycle City Hawaii

Position Summary: The Service Technicians are responsible for,
• Examining vehicles, compiling estimates of repair costs, and securing customers approval to
perform repairs;

• Responsible to picking up repair orders from dispatcher and take to work location;
• Performing work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with
dealership and factory standards;
• Diagnosing cause of any malfunction and performing repair according to dealership and/or
manufacturer standards;
• Diagnosing and repair vehicles including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension,
braking, etc. to specification;
• Identifying information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and
detecting changes in circumstances or events;
• Servicing repairing and adjusting and test machines, devices, moving parts, and equipment;
• Inspecting and testing new vehicles for damage, then record findings so that necessary repairs
can be made;
• Road-testing vehicles when required or refer to the test-technician, keeping in mind that
customer’s vehicles should not be used for personal errands;
• Controlling machines and processes, including use of electronic calibration devices, use of
engine diagnostic equipment and operation of vehicle engine electrical system test equipment,
and any related operations;
• Operating various tools, including electrical or electronic equipment, hand or power tools, and
pneumatic tools and welding equipment;
• Using electronic test equipment to locate and correct malfunctions in fuel, ignition, and
emissions control systems;
• Repairing and rebuild clutch systems;
• Repairing, replacing and adjusting defective carburetor parts, gasoline filters and exhaust;
• Documenting work performed as instructed by management (ie. Computer notes, MPVI
worksheet);
• Communicating with supervising staff and Parts Consultant to obtain needed parts as instructed
by management;
• Other duties assigned.

Minimum Requirements: Must have high school diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent; Must have a current driver’s license and an acceptable motor vehicle abstract; Must have motorcycle endorsement; Must have proficient computer skills; Must have Knowledge of different engines, components & systems; Experience in manual dexterity, able to operate, understand and is comfortable with a wide variety of hand tools and equipment preferred; Motorcycle riding experience preferred; Possession of a valid and current Safety Inspector’s License is a plus. State of Hawaii Motorcycle License is a plus; Mechanical Aptitude is required; Knowledge of different engines, components and systems; Experience in manual dexterity, able to operate, understand, and is comfortable with a wide variety of hand tools and equipment; Problem solving skills and customer service experience; Must have valid Driver’s license and an acceptable abstract; Possession of a valid and current Safety Inspector license a plus; Brand Certifications Preferred.
