ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Moving bikes into the proper locations throughout the Service and Sales Department, Warehouse and Dealership.
• Providing direct “hands-on” assistance and support to the Service and Sales Manager and any designated employee to enhance the efficiency and flow of work to the Service Technicians.
• Providing assistance to the Business Office, including runs to the Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV), bank and Satellite City Hall.
• Obtaining and delivering parts and tools to the Service Technicians in a timely manner to enhance the efficiency and productivity of the service operation.
• Providing assistance and support to the Service and Sales Department in the maintenance of the Service Department, to include such additional duties as cleaning and assisting in the organization of the Service Department.
• Supporting and maintaining a high degree of accuracy, completeness, and timeliness for all parts and repair assistance in support of the Service Technicians, Service Consultants, and Service Managers.
• Coordinating closely with the Parts/Service Liaison to include serving as a Parts Runner for the Service Department as required, to ensure a smooth flow of parts availability to Service Technicians.
• Assisting in the pre-staging of Repair Work and assisting in checking in all internal and external customer motorcycles.
• Delivering and picking up vehicles, and/or supplies and parts as required.
• Making sure that all vehicles that get serviced are washed before the customer picks it up;
• Providing assistance with special events set-up.
• Always maintaining a safe environment.
• Detailing motorcycles as needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Must have High school diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent.
• One year experience as a Lot Technician or Driver preferred, but not required.
• Must have a current valid motor vehicle Driver license.
• Must have motorcycle Driver’s license (for Service Lot Technician position)
• Must have an acceptable abstract.
• Motorcycle riding experience preferred. Must have the ability to operate heavy weight motorcycles (approx. 800 lbs.) and drive them around the facility. (for Service Lot Technician position)

• Sell a minimum number of vehicles, based on goals and objectives defined by the sales manager.
